We designed this when we
got a new sitting room carpet. We have a large open fire and get
through a lot of logs. We always struggled to keep the place
clean. A large plastic bucket was the answer and surround it
with a strong wrought iron cage painted black to make it look nice!
A real candle stick.

I am particularly fond of this piece. My wife asked for a candle
stick so that is what I made. The feet and candle supports are
made of turned cherry. The base is made of oak into which a
stick of Hazel complete with bark is mounted. The drips for the
candles are made of copper. No two could ever be the same.
Dining Table

This table has history already. It is a 8' long refectory
table that I made from a Elm tree that once stood in my garden.
The tree died and I planked it up and stored it for ten years
while I decided what to do with it. In the end I made this
table. I didn't have enough elm to make the width so I framed it
with English Oak on Oak legs. I made a wrought iron wedge to
hold the legs together and my friends have nick name the table
the "Nike table" It is cracking right down the joints as it
dries out, even after ten years of seasoning. I think it just
adds to the character, though maybe not everyone would agree
with me.
Small Mirror.

We needed a small mirror for the en-suite so I made up this one
from a piece of oak with wrought iron mountings. Just because it
is hardly ever seen by friends doesn't mean it has to be plain
and boring. The problem with mirrors is that the reflection gets
older the longer you have them.
